So, I am hearing people address me as "maam"....or... "lady". Not even, "miss"....or "young women" anymore. Everytime I'm at the grocery store checkout stand, or gas station, or ANYWHERE really.....I am addressed as "maam". "Thank you...maam", "paper or plastic bags maam", "Have a nice day "maam", "Excuse me lady!...you forgot your bag...there was one more".
I am starting to worry a bit. When I look in the mirror, I see ....well, ME! I don't feel like a MAAM...or an old LADY! But, when I hear myself being addressed as such...all I can picture in my mind is
HER......
I'm not sure how to embrace my aging body!

You are so old! tee hee Wow you have been a posting crazy girl! You are a doll and I am glad you have had a such a great week. Thank you so much for letting us use your house when you totally needed it. We had such a great temple trip and never could have done it without such wonderful accomodations provided by you and Jay. We had 42 kids in the 6:30 session and it was amazing! Then on to Angels Landing! Wew!! Oh Lisa this is a busy and wonderful time!
Oh, Lisa, I totally understand you there. I hate when people call me ma'am. I'm so not a ma'am, I'm a miss! Literally, it's my nickname. :) You are still in the miss category, my friend. Don't let those teenage pimply bagboys worry you. They think 18 is ancient.
Whats crazy to think about is that you are currently the age of Mom when she had you! Holy Smokes!

Shhh, the dreaded "ma'am"!!!! I can't believe anyone would call you that! You are so young! They're just misguidedly trying to be polite. Bless their little hearts.
